The more you can prolong the time that is needed for them to have a happy first few years of their life, the more they will be able to reach all their developmental needs.

Unfortunately, there will be times when we are unable to shield ourselves from the downsides that life offers. This is where we as parents need to step up and ensure that it has not or does not affect them, and if so, we need to give the reassurance and resources needed to help them get back on track to having a pleasant childhood.

We may often feel like we are not doing all we can or enough for our children, which is a perfectly normal part of parenthood. We need to learn that feeling like we are failing can also have effects on not only ourselves but our children too. We hope to do our best, and that is all we can do. Our children will show us daily what they need along with some self-study. Paying attention to how our children react to certain instances and when they are achieving their milestones will tell us that what we are doing is helping them to build a stable basis for the years to come. Doing what you can to help them remain a child as long as required and meet their development stages will give them the perfect start to their life.
